Hex attachments for a wrench?

Does anyone know where I can get some hex/allen key ends for my normal socket wrench (or torque wrench when I get one)???
I need one tomorrow to tighten my crank bolts and thought it would be pretty standard in my cheap home tool kit but have discovered to my dismay that there are only a couple of hex bits and they're not the right sizes. I've had to cobble together something using the 8mm attachment from my multi-tool which fits onto a 6mm hex key (fortunately I did have a 6mm hex bit for the wrench) but it's less than ideal because it sticks out a fair bit longer than I'd like, making it tricky to get really good leverage.
Couldn't even find anything on Screwfix's website, and I really thought they had everything.
Hex keys are ten-a-penny but hex bits for a wrench/ratchet handle are nowhere to be found, it seems.

Found some on eBay but I dunno how good they'll be:

Would rather buy brand new if possible.0 -
Halfords or any car/diy center."Do not follow where the path may lead, Go instead where there is no path, and Leave a Trail."

Machine Mart is a likely bet.0

Yup, the usual suspects, Halfords and Machine Mart. Very handy tools to have. You might want to get a set with long bits, bike access can be tricky with the regular ones.Uncompromising extremist0

Actually, Screwfix do have some (you're right, they have everything!)

Got some proper ones for the new torque wrench in the end.
Each bit has it's own 3/8" holder. Sorted0
