After about 30 miles my feet start to get very sore, the toe area. after I take them out of the cleats for aout 5 mins the pain goes away for about 10 mile then comes back. My shoes fit but just, cycling plus suggest getting shoes 1.5 - 2cm too big, has anyone used this advice to sort sore toes?

I'd not suggest getting a shoe that's too big, for fear of blistering where the shoe rubs on the foot.
Try moving the cleats around a bit. Sorenes is normally the cleat being too far forwards (with a cleat too far back causing an ache) but this is far from a hard and fast rule.0 -
Try removing the sole?0
