I saw a bike today called a Paris Champion du Monde.
The guy that owned it, told me it had been built in the mid 1980s by a company which has since become Condor bikes ? He said it was built by Tom Board ?
What will the frame material be for this bike - Reynolds tubing or something else ?
I've never heard of Paris - are they good ? It looked a nice bike - it was a flame red colour.

Paris were a brand in their own right. To keep the brand alive Condor bought the brand in the mid eighties. Tom Board did indeed build those bikes at that time. The gallibier was re-introduced two years at the London show, current wait list for a frame is 12 months.
Unsure if there will be another model released.
Material would likely to be 501 or maybe 531.0 -
Tom built us a tandem frame in the 80's which was Reynolds 531tandem tubing. At that time he was building frames for several London shops and offered us a choice of names!
Our Paris has done well. This year we added a Roberts tandem to the stable.
Tom was a 1 man builder based in Upper Street then finally at The Bicycle Workshop.
