what is a lightweight tube weigh???

What kind of tyre weight should i be looking at??

Just looking for a general N/S Down XC tyre
What are your thoughts???

Lightweight tubes are more likely to puncture than standard thickness ones. They are also more expensive.

If you are serious about weight saving then look at tubeless wheel systems which do away with inner tubes totally.

continental supersonic tubes that i have bought are in the low 90 grams

So some speed kings with supersonic tubes will make up to less than 500g

Sounds a tidy set up

check out maxxis maxxlite tyres they weigh in the low 300 gram mark.im not sure on performance you will have to do a search on them on the weight weenies site??
