trails near warwick ?????

Hi all, i have to drive the wife to warwick uni for the day on thursday and then wait and take her home so i have loads of time to kill in a place i dont know. so i was wondering if there are any trails / single track near warwick (about 1/2 hour by car). any help would be much appreciated as sitting on my ass all day is not appealing. thanks in advance keith

Just in case you're not aware - Warwick University isn't in Warwick. It's in Coventry. :?

You can also pick up a leaflet for Ryton Pools which is a couple of hours long and is a mixture of road and off-road. You'd have to get that from the kiosk at the pools though.

I work at the University of Warwick, but this reminded me of something that happened when I was at school. My Dad was supposed to be speaking at a conference at the University of Warwick, so the morning of his conference he drove to Warwick, then drove round Warwick unable to find any signs for the University. He finally went into a police station and asked them where the University was, and they (of course) said "in Coventry".
