My Grandad had a tweed jacket - I wonder if its still about - I could look stylish on the bike - his flat cap would match it too.

    £400.

Let's see, 50 year old in shorts - Angus Young of AC-DC. Top Hat? well that would be much rated uber guitar player 'Slash' so you see Rapha could have some 'rock-cred' if they were to bring these out. Perhaps they could persuade Angus to wear their 'fixed' or 'touring' shorts. As I remember, AC/DC also had some comely maidens on bikes in the video to 'You Shook Me All Night Long'

  • I want to like it......

I've got a pair of their breeks, and a couple of t-shirts, and a softshell.....it's great kit...

there's also the fact that Rapha do put a lot back into cycling in London....

but I can't help but think that they are turning into a parody of themselves :?

You should have seen the Rapha truck area at the Etape. Lots of guys trotting about in the "uniform" and their little caps, some tweed.

Shades of emperor's new clothes methinks
