My wilier v PLanet - X dilemma
oxymoron

Wilier Mortirolo Mirage 2008 has a Full Carbon Monocoque main frame.
The SL Pro Carbon - Dura Ace Build has a Frame: Planet X SL Pro Carbon Road (Black)
Fork: Planet X SL Pro all Carbon.
My question is which is the better frame? I understand the Dura ace groupset is better than the mirage groupset.
Im not ruling out the Wilier as I really like how it looks. So, is the Wilier's Full Carbon Monocoque main frame a better buy now Over the Planet-X? as I can then upgrade little bits over the next couple of years if the Wilier's frame is alot better than the planet-x's.
Hope that makes sense.
PS: Sorry about making so many What bike should I buy threads. I have narrowed it down to these two for sure now, honest.

The question really depends on how vain you are, if you are a hedonistic extrovert the Wilier will make you faster, if however you are a cerebral introvert the PX will be faster,0

Oxymoron I bought a Planet X SL Pro Carbon Ultegra at the start of the year mainly based on the advice from this forum. I hadn't seen one in the flesh let alone ridden one. Having had a Specialized Allez Elite for a year before this I was totally blown away by the difference in the PlanetX. The Spec was only £100 cheaper when I bought it and I still consider it a great bike but weight wise and riding wise the PlanetX is superb. I like the understated nature of it. I also upgraded the wheels which may have a lot to do with it as well. Glad I did at the time as about to get engaged and I doubt very much if I will be able to afford to buy wheels like that again!!!!Giant Anthem X3 20130

I just got my Planet- X and it is amazing I really dont think you will be disappointed. I havent ridden a road bike since 1993, and I don't hae anything to compare it to but I am amazed how light and stiff it is and it just flies. Having said that I can appreciate the looks of the Wilier bikes, but you get a lot more for your money with Planet-X (and you buy British )0
