Stolen - Specialized Rockhopper Pro Disc 2008 - Liverpool

My brother has had his Rockhopper Pro Disc stolen from the garage beneath his flat in Liverpool city center. He has been very ill for a couple of weeks and has been recovering back home in mum and dads.
He went to check on the bike today and it was gone with the lock cut. It was stolen from a garage underneath the apartment complex. You need to have a card to access the garage eitherfrom the street or from inside.
He has informed the Police who are going to send out the forensics and has been given a investigating officer.
I am gutted for him as he has only had a bike a few months and was getting into it and he has been really ill in recent weeks.

But it was a 19" frame.
Insurance company or my brother cannot source one so he is having a battle to get the money off the insurance company at the moment as he doesn't want to settle for the 2009 RH Comp they have offered him.0
