Controversial comeback?

So, it seems, judging from various news items, that a well-known figure with a controversial reputation, who has polarised opinion and is detested in certain circles, is about to make a comeback with an outfit who've a few skeletons in their cupboard, a rather chequered past and themselves aren't that well liked. Still, enough about Mandelson's recall to the Cabinet; apparently Armstrong wants to have a crack at the Tour next year....

I liked the way that the BBC announced that Mandelson had returned, despite having "Resigned" twice.

I recall the following exchange from I'm Sorry I Haven't A Clue a few years back during a round based either on riddles or Christmas cracker gags;
Humphrey Lyttelton: Who turns up to work every day just to get the sack?
(The correct, sensible answer was probably 'postman', from memory)
Barry Cryer: Peter Mandelson.

If Mandleson is back with a major responsibility for how this country is governed then its time for a riot outside No 10.... :xSpring!

Just imagine if Mandelson's favourite bike rider was Lance Armstrong? :shock:

I'm sure I saw a billboard today with the headline:
'Will Gordon ever feel safe with Mandy behind him'?0 -

That would explain Armstong's high-cadence climbing technique - 'spin' at work yet again!
