Anyone out there know of a manufacturer, besides Mavic, who makes ceramic
tubular rims (700)? Had two pairs of Mavic's and had lots of cracking around the eyelets,
both front and rear wheels. Great wheels for the big mountains but couldn't see having
to rebuild them once a year.

There were ceramic rims besides Mavic? I know Rigida has a Carbide coating treatment, but they don't make any tub rims at all, and you can't get them in the USA anyway :(
I would forget the ceramic bit and buy a Velocity Escapes or Ambrosio Nemesis. The Nemesis is a hard anodised rim that looks like a Mavic CD finish.
