A good commuting tyre?

Hello all,
I'm sorry if this question as been asked hundreds of times before, but I was wondering if any one could help me. I am trying to find a suitable tyre for my mountain bike that would be good for riding on the road as I'm wanting to turn it into a bike for commuting on?
