OK! I'm pretty impressed by the last feedback I got regarding my tyre questions!
I've got another one for you now.....
Another items I'm upgrading is my rear shock. I'll probably do this in the new year or perhaps a little before (depending on Christmas bonuses and so forth), however although I know which shock I'd like (Fox Float RP23), I'm a little unsure as to what size to get.
My bike is a 2006 Specialized Stumpjumper FSR. I've just checked out the tech specs of the bike on the Specialized website and it says my rear shock (which I already knew was a triad), is as follows:
Fox Triad, 7.5x1.75", adjustable rebound, 1)lock out, 2) Open, 3)ProPedal pedal assisting damping
I'm guessing the size is the 7.5x1.75", but what does this mean and what should I get since the most similar size I can find is 7.5x2".....
There are also loads of bigger / smaller sizes so does bigger mean better and what would be the best size for my frame?
Cheers,
BB

Phone Streetlifecycles on 01603 626660 and ask for Tim. He'll be able to tell you what shock you'd need for that bike. The Guy's amazing!jedster wrote:Just off to contemplate my own mortality and inevitable descent into decrepedness.

you may find that you can not do what you want. as you do need the same size and stroke or bit of metal can start hitting each other.
Call Mojo and see what they can do. Mojo are the UK agents for Fox."Do not follow where the path may lead, Go instead where there is no path, and Leave a Trail."
