Surely this is Paypal's problem, not wiggle? Can't really tell by the way you describe it.

I'll tell you one thing, Wiggles card processor is not going to scam you.
I've heard many horror stories with Paypal, on the other hand...

    think its paypal

    just ordered with card

it was processing the order then coming up with an error message from paypal

cant remember when it was but a load of people got their cards copied from using wiggle, thats what i was refering to

Why not try using WorldPay. It's run by HBOS so I think you should be pretty safe if you don't want Wiggle to have your details. On top of that, PayPal is not an official bank so I trust them much less with my CC details.

Personally I rely on my credit card protection and only last night I placed an order on Wiggle and gave them my card details.

I've done this many times without any issues.....

Is this pure speculation or was there concrete evidence? I'd be very surprised if this was true.

But then why trust any "official" bank at the moment, especially HBOS?!!

I'd sooner trust wiggle than Paypal right now - although this is more to do with me being burnt by Paypal in recent memory - whilst I was on holiday in America, someone did me over to the tune of 700 quid. Got it all back though (kudos to Paypal for the way my claim was dealt with), and my eBay addiction is far too serious to ditch Paypal now...
  • Never had a problem with Wiggle, but if you're worried, wait until your order has been proccessed and then go into your profile and overwrite your credit card number with zeroes.
