hi
just got my bike and the discs starting squeaking... pretty annoying... while tying to sort it out like a total prat i pulled the front brake without the wheel in... now the brakes are almost locked on...
how do i release the pressure so i can stop them from doing this?
thanks

push the piston back into the caliper with something clean.
or"Do not follow where the path may lead, Go instead where there is no path, and Leave a Trail."

Nice pics Nick, you seem very chilled out this evening. Good on ya mate! It's nice to be important, but it's more important to be nice.0

i pushed them in as far as they will go but they still seem to touch the discs :roll:0 -
both pads touch or just one?"Do not follow where the path may lead, Go instead where there is no path, and Leave a Trail."

ok the pads were not in right... my fault... ok so now they are back in ok... but is there an order im supposed to pump the levers in? just that i've done it once already and i pulled the lever 3 times and it was touching the disk again...0

all sorted now not overly impressed by the design... no real adjustment... just an atomatic system which is a bit hit and miss...0

no im sure avid rushed their design through in mintues without a care in the world.0

im sure they didnt but the fact both front and back brakes have already needed re-calibrating after 2 rides is a bit worrying...
maybe they were not set up properly in the shop0 -
dont forget that every time you move the caliper the pads will need to bed in again.
and rubbing of pads happens but will reduce in use."Do not follow where the path may lead, Go instead where there is no path, and Leave a Trail."
