noise levels - trainers

been looking at turbos over the last few weeks and think im gonna go for a blackburn track stand ultra? any body use one? how noisy are they?

    Not used that one, but fluid and magnetic ones tend to be quietest. Relatively speaking,

    A turbo tyre and a mat underneath it may help too, but it is pretty noisy anyway.

    Its not so much vibration, but just the whirr of the flywheel is so damn loud one mine - a Taxc Satori.

    You should have the old ones with a turbo fan...if I use mine, it's in the garage, with the radio turned right up !

    so the wife will have 2 watch telly in the shed then while i train in the living room?

    I got rollers, they are very quiet and give you the added interest of having to balance, I don't get my heart reate too high on it but it sure makes me sweat.
