Trying to decide between the three of them and not getting very far, all are comfortable so just boils down to spec, what would you go for?
GT AGGRESSOR ELITE (cant find any reviews of it)

KONA KULA 2008

VOODOO WANGA 2008

im not that technical when it comes to the ins and outs of the specs so any help in what is the best would be much appreciated.
thanks

If it was me I'd go for the GT Agressor Elite out of those 3Giant Defy 4 2014
GT Avalanche Expert 2006
Specialized Hardrock 19890 -
i'd agree. i think the aggressors are just "rebadged" GT other model frames - e.g. avalanche. looks like a decent spec for the money anyhow.0

I did look at the Boardman Mountain Team but they cant get any more stock in just now, I think the GT Aggressor Elite is of a similar spec but just cant find any reviews of it at all!
Anyone tried one or have one?Giant Anthem Zero : http://www.flickr.com/photos/16349194@N ... 3/sizes/l/0 -
i think the boardman team is a lot better bike imo
how about this its about the best spec for the money

The GT is a good bike, with good fork and frame.
I don't think you need a review for it, it's all about if it fits or not.0 -
I do like the look of the GT Elite, but have been out of MTB for about 10 years so not sure what is value for money these days.
Bullcross, the Rockrider 8.2 looks very good, do you have one? gonna phone Halfords and see if they can source it as I have to go through them.
I also saw a Specialized Rockhopper Expert Disc 2009 model for £850, which is in my price range, it looks pretty good but again all down to if Halfords can source it for meGiant Anthem Zero : http://www.flickr.com/photos/16349194@N ... 3/sizes/l/0 -
no i dont have 1
but looks a good buy to me cant find owt better speccedfocus superbud0 -
Aggressor is a bit more 'hardcore' than the others, and will take upto 130mm travel.0

Hi, I have a Wanga and am really happy with it. While its not the best specced or lightest bike in its class, it handles really great and handles Peak District descents with ease despite its basic forks.
I did have to fiddle with the set up, the standard stem is 115mm, and the tyres clog easily but overall im very happy.

I'd be tempted to be different and pursue the Voodoo, the Steel frame looks sweet as and will be nice a forgiving to ride. Good spec aswell.
Remember people will generally recommend bikes they know about and ride. Voodoo is not spoken of on this forum and relatively unknown, the fact it does not get a mention here does not mean it should be discounted if you like it. Though now Halfords have sigend a deal I'm sure they will appear more.

In fact looking at this makes me want a steel frame bike again, there is something about steel which all the hydroformed aluminum frames can't match.0 -
Yes its a very forgiving versitile frame. I managed to get 25% off too.0 -
Well it was August Bank Holiday!0

Yeah, thanks, liked the black too and decent spec and weighs around 11.5 Kg plus according to my wife it just looks cool so good enough for me
I phoned up Halfords call centre, they can get you most brands of bikes that are avaibale in the UK.Giant Anthem Zero : http://www.flickr.com/photos/16349194@N ... 3/sizes/l/0
