Anyone know of any opticians in the NW doing cycling sunnies with prescription inserts?

Its a bit more complicated but is what I did, Specilized do prescription inserts that you take to be prescriptioned on their own, which only cost £10 so if your prescription changes after a year or two you can just take the indert instead of being left with a whole pair of glasses that you can't have represcriptioned

Also Oakley can do most of their sunnies in almost any prescription. Rudy project also do a set of glasses where you can change the lenses about - clear yellow etc and they have a set or prescription lenses that sit behind the main ones to do the vision correction. They work quite well and are more economical as you only have to buy one set of the prescrption lenses and then can put whatever tint infront of them depending on conditions
  • Vision express do Oakley with prescription sunny or reactolite lenses

I have done this a few times with my optilabs frames, you just pay for the prescription and fitting.
