Rides near South Manchester / Stockport

Hi,
Fairly new to the area and just got back onto my bike after a few years of non cycling. I'm mostly just using my bike to commute at the moment but am keen to find some good trails that are fairly local & fairly strenuous - only really know of theTPT at the moment. Am also up for any rides at the weekends.

    Defintiely up ofr some peaks rides, sadly not about this sat though. Would be up for tagging along the week after if you're out then?
