trying to change my hanger :(

recently snapped the hanger, bought a replacement but cant get the snapped one off!

its driving me slowly mad... surely its just a case of undoing it from the mech?

mech i have is a sram X9. am i missing something? i gotta get out before the rain comes

any advice would be very gratefully received

    so what is your problem?

    remove mech from remains. remove the rest from the frame fit mew hanger fit mech.

    i know :oops:

    even with my b/friends super strength he cant get the hanger off the mech. it should be a piece of cake right?

    yep it just unscrews.

    just broke the mech trying to get the hanger off.

    not a happy bunny. bet it rains tomorrow too :roll:

    what has actually broken? the mounting bolt? they are replaceable. but not easy to find.
