Hi Guys,
This might sound a bit of a daft one really.
I have my spesh helmet that i use for mountain biking, but it seams a little bulky for when i'm riding the lanes around my house. I don't like the look of the roadie stuff but still want a helmet with a peak, but a slimmer look to it. I have started going out with no helmet, but know this isn't the right way to go.
Any suggestions?
Steve

Loads on CRC to look at for a start. I'd just use the one you have and save the money for somthing else.0 -
I can vouch for thet MET helmet as a commuter it sure does keep your head cool!0

Go tot decent shop and try some out. Shapes of them vary as much as our heads do.0

I agree with sonic, defo try them on in a shop, would be a risk buying a lid off of the www.
I've ended up with a very average looking Specialized helmet (despite not wanting to own anything from the brand on principle) as it was the only one in the shop that fitted me noggin correctly. Its a bit too big visually for my liking but its comfortable and I forget I am wearing it after 30 seconds.0 -
Thanks Guys,
I popped into my LBS this morning and was looking at the MET range..good prices and quite slim looking.

When I looked in five of my LBSs every single one stocked Giro helmets and very little else. Couple of Specialized and lower-end Bell in one or two, but very little opportunity to actually try out any other brands.Welcome, to my bonesaw!0
