Raceface Evolve Crankset Removal

Is there a knack to removing a X type crank? I've removed the cap and bolt but still cant remove the arms,is ther something i've missed or is it time for the old hammer.I only want to change the middle ring and its being to bug me so a little advise would be much appreciated.

    Put the bolt and the cap back in and torque to the correct setting.
    Now undo the inner bolt ( Leaving the outer ring in plac ) Keep undoing it and it will extract the crank and rings.
    Have a look on the race face web site they have the instructions.
    When the crank side is off you can tap out the non drive side with a soft faced hammer if it is a bit tight.

    It did work on mine. If I have it wrong I'm sure Sonic will be on the case.

    just had a look at your bike, nice. I've got the same in Chrome Grey, which is a slightly faster colour, both up hill and down dale.

    they are fitted with, as has been said above, a self-extracting bolt system.
