Sore Knee

I fell off the bike last week, going over the top and landing on my knees. I was wearing jeans so seemingly got away with just a scrap and a bruise. My left knee didn't even bruise - but one week on the knee seems to have got worse.
If i even brush against something lighly around the kneecap then it's agony. I'm still commuting in and it doesn't seem to affect my cycling but does feel a bit sore once i'm off the bike. Bizarely, there's still no bruising.
Any ideas of what i have done and best way to 'treat' it?
Many thanks

You should see the doctor, I recently thought I'd sprained my fingers - three weeks later I went to the doctors and found out that I'd broken a bone in my hand. Now it's healed up a little bit bent and a little bit shorter!
Lesson learned......... should have gone to the doc's sooner! :roll:http://i556.photobucket.com/albums/ss9/ ... lurLT2.jpg

Think we need a sore knee section here. And maybe a sore knee administrator.0
