hi i was thinking what would be a good bike for freeride that was under 1200 
i have got a kona shred at the moment and get realy pissed :twisted: of with it i want to be able to have more fun on trails and stuff cos if i go n a trail with my kona shred my discs start :evil:

norco got a new budget freeride bike for about that. the bikes arnt due in until the new year though0

2nd Hand or new? New I would say something along the lines of:
Mongoose black diamond single,
Bighit 1,
Marks suggestion etc.etc.
I personally would go 2nd hand. I managed to get myself a bighit 3 '06 last year for £920 with some nice little extras on it.
This route you could pretty much get anything you desired:
Specialized sx trail 2/ one of the demo's,
Kona coiler, anything really it's all a case of patience with either route.
Decide on your dream bike, set the price and wait. It will come!<hr>
