After my last ride i've decided I need some toe clips as my feet kept coming off the pedals riding off road.

Can somebody recommend me some, are they all the same? My bike is a Kona Blast Deluxe 08 with standard metal pedals with reflectors on them..

Cheers all..

dont bother. have a look at some SPD shoes and clipless pedals.

or some better gripping shoes and some quality flat pedals.

everyone will tell you to get some DMR V8's or their Wellgo equivalent.
    Its the law doncha know!!
But having been in a similar position, nick recommended Gusset slim jims. Very pleased, and the same price as the V8/ clone.
Nowt wrong with the V8's plenty folks like 'em, just felt a bit small underfoot for me.

Agree, straps and clips are bothersome off road.
  • See, those DMR V8s don't look anything like grippy to me. I hate wet shoes sliding off pedals and pedals slamming into shins.

Which reminds me of Sharkbite pedals... they look grippy enough.
    Welcome, to my bonesaw!

V8s, or similar, with the right shoes are plenty grippy enough.

I can't see how flat pedals can offer good grip when going up hill as you have nothing to pull up on? Try the powergrip straps http://www.jejamescycles.co.uk/id40757.html
I got mine from Edinbiurgh cycles £20.Easy to get in and out of without the panic of clips and you have the pull up on hills aswell. And ypu can wear them with any shoe.
