Gear Problems on Shimano 105

I've just had to change my back inner tube, but I've put my rear wheel back on and I can't change gear on my front hub. I'm using got Shimano 105 gear set - the bike has recently been serviced, and they completely wasted my time, so I don't really want to take it back if I can fix it myself
Any ideas, I can't change down to the smaller cog.
Thanks
Craig

front hub? you mean chainset, right :?:
Loosening the cable tension A QUARTER OF A TURN at a time makes it easier to change to smaller cogs. It could also be the "L" limit screw. If so, similarly, wind that out a quarter of a turn...0 -
I guess!! My bike knowledge is pretty poor to be honest!!!0

One of my colleagues has kindly looked at this for me and fixed it, but noticed that the front derailleur cable is significantly frayed - given this bike is only 4 weeks old - is this to be expected?0 -
Are we talking double or triple? will it change up a chain wheel ? Did the chain come off the chainwheels whenyou were changing the rear inner tube and if so are you sure put it back on the right one? It should be directly under the front deraileur. We are born with the dead:
See, they return, and bring us with them.0
