Is the seam or crack a problem?

As a total novice I worry about everything. Is this a crack or a typical join on a wheel?

It's normal - it's how the wheel is made.

Thanks, just couldn't locate a matching join on the other wheel so my panarnoid levels rose :oops:

the join is 180 degrees from the valve.

Oh and very normal.
