Hi,

I have fitted the rack to my car fine but having some problems fitting the bike to the rack once its on the car.

I'm not sure if its cause my frame is only 16" and as its smaller its causing a problem.

I have added some pictures of how I got it to eventually fit.

Can anybody advise me if this is ok or is there any other way to fit it.

Thanks

  • I'm not sure if that is correct but whether it is or not your going to need a lighting board to display your license plate and so people behind can see your lights. If you don't get one of these the coppers ain't gonna be very happy

Not sure if that rack comes with one though :?

Agree with bonyjoe..........you will get the police stoping you for your number plate and rear lights.
And watch for other idiots passing you as the wheels stick out a long way.

Problem you will have is you dont have a towbar to connect a light board too.

Not sure if it's the camera angle, but that wheel looks to be sticking out a long way to the right! - A coppa will have u straight away for that as it's dangerous to pedestrians.

Not if its in the uk as its on the drivers side......but it must have a marker light fitted.

  • My bike goes on the rack just like that. I dont think there is much you can do about it unless you get a roof rack which im getting. It sticks out a bit one side on mine but never had any problems with police before. Depends how picky they are I suppose.
