Carbon Frame Strength

I've just purchased my first full carbon framed road bike and being the clumsy oaf that I am I have banged the back wheel side on against the door frame at home a couple of times moving it in and out.
I have had no cracking or dodgey noises, but it got me to thinking how sturdy are these frames (fyi this one's a Specialized Tarmac)? Can they take an idiot like me occasiaonlly banging them about (even though I am being bloody careful now).
Cheers

Well dodgy If i s a 57cm, I will take it off your hands for a couple of quid More seriously, carbon frames can withstand quite a lot of punishment. The odd bang is OK, but have a good look over it every month or so to look out for tell tale little cracks. My Bianchi cracked, but I know it was from hitting a very bad pothole at speed when in France. Bianchi did replace the frame.0

Topics been covered quite a bit in the past. I wouldnt worry, I have a 3 year old carbon Roubaix that's done 20k miles and been subjected to all sorts of punishment including several major crashes and is fine.Martin S. Newbury RC0

I am always banging the back wheel on the door when I turn it round - it really annoys me every time I do but I just keep doing it!!! AAArrrregh
Sorry, but yeah should be OK unless you severely clatter it.0 -
Cheers for the info guys, much appreciated.
It's a 58 gavintc and thanks for the offer but I'm sticking with it.
When your Bianchi cracked was it a clearly visible crack out of interest?0
