Scotland, Raasay and Torridon - MTB or Road?

Hi there, some Scotland advice needed, I'm off up to Raasay for about a week at the end of the month and then to the Shieldaig/Torridon area for a few days afterwards...the problem is which bike I should bring with me, my mtb or road?
Does anyone know if there is any mtbing to make it worthwhile or should I just take the road bike and tackle the roads of Skye and then the Beal-na Bach climb and roads on the mainland? Would I just get bored with a road bike on Raasay? Hope someone can help,
