Any MTB trail centers with in an hours drive of.....
Oxford?
I drive alot with work and Wales is just to far to drive to at the weekend, esp as I am oftern in Cardif mid week, does my head in thinking about driving back at the weekend.
Is anyone aware of a proper trail center within an hour’s drive (50 - 60ish miles) of Oxford?

Define proper trail centre?! Not sure if the likes of Swinley Forest (Bracknell) or Woburn (Milton Keynes) come under the banner of Trail Centres but both are within an hour of Oxford.

thanks very much pemsey, just found this website http://mtbtrailtime.googlepages.com/home while searching it lists "proper trail centres" and both the above are listed.
I think Aston hill or Swinley forest are on the cards for this weekend, will do a little reading and decide which to go to. assuming the weather is dry 0 -
Swinley is very good, i didn't notice any waymarked trails but there are some that have definitely been purpose built.0
