Does anyone know what is good to eat and drink (and how much) to recover after a nice ride?

Pasta and tuna, with a good tomato sauce! A great mix of carbs, protein and minerals to refuel.0

low fat choc milk is a great stand by, if you dont have the time and inclination for the cooking, fills a gap perfectly between meals.0

If you are serious about diet then some people say that having two meals is best. I have a pan fried chicken breast first (seasoned with some garlic), then 1/2 hour later some pasta with sauce and a little bread. Leaving time between the protein and carbs is said the be beneficial.
