Which do ye think would be the better option.

Both the Malt 2 and Malt 4 Ltd are coming in around the same price the Malt 4 has the better frame (Kenisis) but Malt 2 has the better components(Reba fork, LX group set).

Malt 4 Ltd Edition

Which would you think would be the better buy?

How does the marzocchi MX Pro LO stand up to the Reba SL.

Thanks

malt 4, why, because it has a better frame.

You can upgrade the rest of the parts as you see fit, you could upgrade the forks straight from Merlin if you wanted to.

Was in the new Merlin shop last week and the Malt 4 really stands out to me - it looks like a really strong & well engineered frame. Definately go for the Malt 4 (looks good in White too). The spec is perhaps more heavy but it all looks very durable & Ilike those forks. The wheels are a good choice too.

  • echo above the 4 is a winner of a frame, the difference between the deore kit and the LX kit is very slight, the reba is the better fork but the Marzocchi is decent enough. I would go for the 4 and replace bits as and when they wear out.

Merlin should make a singlespeed and call it the Single Malt.

I know that's off topic, I just thought it was a good idea.
