Cheap Nasty Cat Eye Front Positioning Mounting system
Just had one of the plastic flanges on my Single shot plus fail, so it doesn't grip the bracket on both sides.
A quick look at the Cat Eye website shows this isn't a replacement part (i.e. the 90 quid light is f*)
Has anyone else had this happen and found a suitable alternative method of securing the light to the bars?
My thoughts right now involve either Zippy Ties or Juibilee clips to strap the light onto the bars

Did you lose the piece that broke off? If not, some epoxy resin should fix it - or you could glue it to the bracket using the same stuff and since the bracket has a thumbscrew that could be your removal mechanism?0

The broken off bit is somewhere on the floor of the shipping container (temporary garage)
The problem with glueing the 2 parts together is one of the access screws is in that area so should I need to replace the battery I woudl ahve to break the glue.
Currently got Zippy ties in, will see how it does. Carry a battery operated one on the tourer as a back up and can use it on the other bikes. (Bracket is on a space grip and i cut the mounting strap to fit.Do Nellyphants count?
