i read a forum question about fury or bantu bike,i have just ordered the bantu and am now very worried about it,having said that all the views of people who say buy the fury have never said they have had or know anybody who has had a voodoo bike so how do they know its crap the frame looks good and the bike(even with lower end deore bits) is a lot lighter and reviews i have read of the slightley higher modles have been goodHAS ANYONE GOT ONE!!!!!!!!!!! i want to know if this is a good bike as i feel the frame is better than the fury and seems to be a good start bike to upgrade over time and better than the RUBBISH halfords gt agressor xc2 from 2008 that i bent the rear stays and frame after 6 months of cross country(i use to ride a rockhopper when i was 18 but gave up and only starte riding again last year)please help.....................

Comments

  • I've a mate that has a voodoo. Can't remember which bike- it's a couple years old and more a hardcore XC / mild jump style. Very good frame but the paint comes off easy. But if the paint is the only down point I guess that's not bad
  • cheers, at least somebody knows some one,
and the reviews from across the water on these bikes all seem to say the same that the paint seems to come off easy buy this can be fix with a simple layer of clearpaint seal.
hopefully i will get a few more people quote on my problem when i first started riding specialized where a newish and unknown make and every one rode kona and gt so i tryed one and it was the best bike i have ever had and i seem to be back at that point of trying a new brand and giving voodoo a chance
still would like anymore comments on the bike as still a little worried and feel that im wrong if i did not have to buy from halfords then i would go and get last years rockhopper disc and have done with it as thats now the sam price but due to missfortune i am stuck with having to buy from halfords as i was sold the gt on there stupid halfords card and they will only refund the gt back on that card and means i can only use it there.

    more help every one pease
    many thanks

Not meaning to be rude but you might get more response if you posted proper sentences with paragraphs.

I agree, when a lot of users see a large block of text they just ignore it, it's hard work on the eyes (&brain) I can't be arsed reading it at all.

You would get more responses if you did use a few paragraphs instead of a huge block of text.

You will get similar (if not worse) responses from any other forum, it's how forums work. You need to help us for us to help you

Just stop being so sensitive and enjoy riding your new bike, I think they look really good and I'm sure you'll love it if you give it a chance.

you can order any bike you want from the Halfords head office to get it send to your local store. I got my RockHopper via Halfords too.

people just try to have some banters with you about the grammar, so get over it dude. :)
beside, it difficult to read a massive chuck of text
