Does anyone know of any MTB clubs in Plymouth, or any non club groups that ride out together that I could join, or team up with ?

Here you go people - the current YOGi MTB schedule. This will continue right through the winter.

MTB Cross Country Ride - Tuesday 16th September
Meet B&Q Marsh Mills 6.30pm. Please appreciate that this ride is guaranteed to be fast and technical, so if you are unsure of your level, try any of our other MTB rides first. Ride time approx 2 hrs minimum. You will need at least 'get you home' lights from now on.

MTB Adventure Ride - Thursday 18th September
Meet Yelverton Co-op Car park at the usual time of 7.00pm then drive to the start point on the Moor. Proper 'Off Road Lights' will be required from now on! Windy does appreciate confirmation that you are riding so please confirm by e-mailing him if you are new to this ride first contact us via our web site (it's just in case of any late change of plan etc!). There is an optional post ride social drink so bring a change of clothes!

Monthly Fun Mountain Bike Ride - 1st Saturday of each month
Meet 10am at different venue each time see website nearer the time for details.
The idea of this ride is to introduce people to some proper off-roading. You may have got bored with trolling up and down the same old cycle-path; this ride introduces people to new some new trails. Nothing too demanding, and the pace is very much that of the slowest rider. Nobody’s going to complain that it’s too slow because that’s the whole point! Some expert riders even turn-up just to do a bit of socialising. Ride distance is usually no more than 15 miles but expect to be out for a few hours - so bring some food.

    I can definately recommend Yogi.

I have done a few rides with them now (even though I live in Cornwall).

The beginner rides are well paced and they manage to keep the group together really well - never losing people, but enough to ensure everyone knows they've been on a good ride.

Cornwall Club went up for a ride with them too. A very large group with over 20 miles riding, no-one got lost, everyone 'mucked in' with breakdowns etc and everyone really enjoyed the day.
