broken frame ??

while taking out the screws to put a new water bottle cage on one screw became tight when i applied a bit more force the screw and the thread in the frame started turning now this thread insert has come lose is my frame unsafe ? it is a decent alluminium mountain bike frame that i use to commute on cant remember the make i took all the stickers off to make it less appealing its about 5 years old

your frame is fine it is just the rivenut that has come lose.

It can be easily be fixed buy a LBS or an engineers workshop.
