I have to say that our podium girls easily beat the TDF girls for beauty. There may only be two of them but they are a couple of corkers. If I could post pics I would.

Anyone have snap shots of the podium girlys0 -
Really ? I thought they were rather ropey.
But better than they could have been - at least they're not wearing tracksuit bottoms and showing a few inches of 'muffin-top'0 -

I think ropey is a bit much but agree that I have seen better. Ever watch the Premier League Darts? The girls they get to walk the "darters" to the stage are all top drawer tottie.
Forget all of them, has anyone seen the ad for Kazakhstan Tourism yet :P ? Im very tempted0 -
Think I overheard at the start in Milton Keynes, that the girls won the job after being voted for by the readers of the Liverpool Echo.......................so pretty as they are, you know you'll be screwing your ears up as soon as they start talking.0

That lower photo, with the hair scraped back, they don't look good.
Look like the sort of girls you'd catch something from.
Hair down, upper photo, a bit more presentable.
They now look like 'girls who would' if still not 'respectable young ladies', so I can imagine them being voted for by Liverpool Echo readers.
(Liverpool Echo - eh ? eh ? eh? eh? eh? eh? eh?)
I think the lower photo was the earlier, last Sunday's London stage, and the upper photo is more recent, from Birmingham stage.
Perhaps the hair scraped back look is a tribute to London - don't they call it the 'Croydon facelift' ?0 -
My Mrs moans every night when they show the podium photos. She wonders why they insist on having orange faces, and as a result they don't look as classy as the podium girls at other European races.
I just sit quietly, and don't comment.0 -
God, you lot must be with a bunch of absolute stunners to mock these girls, or just very lonely. If it's the former please post pics then we can all judgewinter beast: http://i497.photobucket.com/albums/rr34 ... uff016.jpg

Nice one Stefanos. I also can't believe I'm reading this on a cycling forum. I hate it when people take the pi$s out of my home town. For the record: Bronzie, Stewie Griffin and andy_wrx, we don't all talk like the stupid Harry Enfield stereotype.
I'd also like to say that cycling isn't just a male activity, and there might be girls and women reading this who also find the thread offensive.0 -

Fair enough, but someone I used to know is from that part of the World and he used to say "dey do do dat dough dont dey laaaaa".
He also used to say "I will sort you out that money I owe you as soon as I can" which is why I say that I used to know him  .0 -
At least they didn't get some lasses from Liverpool who were all Fake Bake and Silicon! Just go to Aintree on Grand National Day and you will see acres of fake tan and fake boobs
What do I ride? Now that's an Enigma!0 -

Ladies Day (I use the term advisedly), which is the day before, is even more hilarious. The day I went it started off sunny then there was a hailstorm. I thought there might be multiple deaths from hypothermia.<a>road</a>0 -

Was I the only one to notice the blonde one wasn't wearing any underwear when she squatted down to chat to her boss before the end of the stage one?
*sighs*. I'm gonna take taken down to chinatown now arn't i?Note: the above post is an opinion and not fact. It might be a lie.0 -
I don't believe you.
If she was really wearing no underwear, you wouldn't be referring to her as 'the blonde one'...0 -
*shrugs*
Maybe I have an overactive imagination.
The guy next to me pointed it out first mind.Note: the above post is an opinion and not fact. It might be a lie.0 -
