Is it usual for new range/bikes to take so long to hit the shops?
Most shops I've seen seem to be low on stock or still trying to shift old models with no insight as to when they'll be getting new ranges or new bikes.
Just mostly curious.

Probably because most of them are not manufactured in the UK and other markets (such as Spain, Italy and France) are bigger than here.
