I want to spend my £20 Halfords voucher this lunch time. I was thinking about getting one of the Haynes maintenance books. Anyone know if they are any good? Otherwise, I guess I can't go far wrong with a couple of inner tubes and a chain tool - can I?

  • Hey there,

The Haynes manual is very good. It's saved my ass a couple of times and is much easier than trawling the internet for repair guides. It's very in depth with clear pictures and caters for different types of component - for example: Campagnolo & Shimano.

    Cheers

Get some Muc Off wipes, dead handy.
  • Surely you could get a Shockwave 'MTB'....and have enough change for a bag of chips!
