Low speed compression damping regulates low damper shaft speeds ie those from braking forces, weight shifts and pedalling. Adding more can counteract the fork compressing as quickly in these situations.

This fork also has a lockout, and a threshold for that lockout.

    Manuals available from fox website.

Ahh i see. So basically if i increase the low speed compression damping setting there will be less suspension dive in the corners? (at lower speeds)

What im looking for is an optimal setting to reduce the suspension sensitivity / dive when cornering fast.

If you increase the low speed compression damping there will be less dive at all speeds. A bit of dive helps to load the front end into turns and prevent it washing out.

High speed damping is activated by big hits when the shock has to move quickly, regardless of how fast the bike is travelling.
