right here is my problem i have had my bike for only 4 months but i think that i could perform much better with better parts nd what i want to know is should i buy a new bike or upgrade i have a db m05 hardtail with zoom forks and the first things i will upgrade are my pedals and saddle but that isnt a problem because they wont cost much what i want to change mostly are my forks and i was thinking is it cheaper to buy new forks nd upgrade literaly my whole bike or just buy a new one. Also which forks should i get im looking for good entry level forks for xc and jumps with out having to spend a fortune i saw some suntour xcr forks and was considering them does any one have any and could they tell me if they are any good.

thanks Hardtail100

The XCR fork is ok, and would be better, but as an upgrade doesn't make much sense. Want to be looking at the RS Tora for a significant difference. Providing they fit the bike of course Check wheter it has a threadless or thredaed headset). Constantly upgrading a budget bike doesn't make financial sense. Buying new in the longrun would be more cost effective, and parts elsewhere would be superior ie the Db is 7spd, v brake equipped and lots of heavy parts.

So I'd either just put a better fork on it, or get a new bike.
