what do people think about race trousers for riding in i fould some FLY RACING ones in my size but i cant find the shorts in my size and they also have a matching top to go with it

what do you think about them.

    I've got matching Shift race jersey and trousers (which convert to shorts).

    I'd only wear them together if downhilling.

    Thing is though, I feel people expect me to be a better rider 'cos I look more pro than I do In cargo trousers and an old t-shirt (which is what I usually wear).

    Surprising a few people by not riding really badly is better than surprising a few people by not riding really well.

    My downhill race trousers are a bit heavy for general trail riding. I'd get too hot in them.
