Tour of Britain Stage 6

Does anybody know of any better maps and descriptions for the Stage 6 Route (Darlington-Newcastle) than are available on the TOB website.
There is nothing to show which roads they are using etc. All they have is a route on a zoomed out OS map and some rough timings.
It doesn't seem like they really want anyone to come and watch the event!

They have detailed directions in the Race Manual which is available for download here:

I thought the map was rubbish too. However I found the race manual the other day on the TOB website and it includes the approximate times that the riders will pass through certain places. I'm going to Great Stainton as it's past the 'proper' start (at Sadberge), but it's close enough for me to dash out of work for an hour or so to see them pass. (It's great being in charge
)
