Bianchi and Cannondale sizing

OK - I have an insurance voucher for Evans and I have narrowed my selection process down to one of the following:

First off - what size should I go for in each - i'm 5'8" and have a medium Focus Cayo that fits fine - I'm guessing that I need a 55 in a Bianchi and a 54 in a Cannondale - that sound right?

Also opinions as to which of the two to go for would be much appreciated.

    I am 5ft 9 and ride a 55cm bianchi and it is a perfect fit, although my second bike is a 56cm Giant?. Same story as said many times on the forum you need to try the bikes for yourself.

    Thanks for the reply - Should really try it out i know but I'm not near an Evans outlet - I've gone for the Bianchi in a 55 anyway - I'm sure it'll be fine.
