Hi guys,

As the weather begins to turn sour... I have just killed my North Face jacket. I am looking for a waterproof or resistant Jacket thats breathable and preferably machine washable for around £70.

I have found these so far...

The Woosh jacket... or at a push the Extra Miler

Or...

What advice can you all give me?? Anyone got any other ideas??

Cheers guys.

Tom

  • Thats all well and good... but that guy has twice the budget I have!!

I was really wondering wether any one had any of the jackets... or some good advice.
  • I got an Altura Crosslite from Go Outdoors for about £70 and would highly recommend it.[/url]

I have an Endura Laser. It feels velly rubbery on the inside (no lining) but is amazingly waterproof (tested it Fri and Sat) and very breathable. And quiet.

Great value for less than £40.

go to sportshoes.com, they are selling gore phantoms for £63.99. It's a superb jacket.

  • Nice one guys... some good ideas. Think I may go for a Howies jacket. I like the fact they are breathable, water resistant and best of all machine washable!! Just need to decide which one now!
  • I just bought a Berghaus RG1. You can get the summer colours for around £55 reduced from £80.

It's quite nice and looks like it's cut for cycling
  • Tried to find a good deal on the Howies Extra-Miler... but they don't seem to have my size on the bargain website!!

So looks like I will go for the Sombrio Vapor instead, all the reviews I have read have been positive and it looks great..£70 down from £120 (can't be bad!)... Sorted!

Cheers for the help guys! 8)
