Is it ISIS? If so, get another ISIS BB in the same size.
  • I dont know mate, thats the thing, i know bugger all about BB's apart from how to take them out/put em in. I just want to go on CRC buy one and hope it fits, if some one could tell me which one that would be grand;) Theres so many different sizes and types it just confuses me

    depends on the cranks really.

Looks like they are truvativ hollowtech 2 style cranks (giga pipe or something?)
in which case you'll need either an truvativ gigapipe BB or one of the compatible superstar components ones. they both offer versions for about £20.

edit: search for GXP bottom brackets, not gigapipe, sorry

if it is a two piece it is external bearings.

    just get new bearings/cups.

  • no it says STYLO and they are external

Ah, ok, you need a GXP bottom bracket.

Can be confusuing, as uses 'cartridge' bearings, but not a 'cartridge' bottom bracket!
  • Thanks mate:)

  • anytear - as a guide Spesh have specifications of their bikes on their website, follow link to bikes>archive. These are generally fairly reliable if you're having difficulty identifying a component.

Any - same bike as me - definitely a GXP Stylo - it says it on the crank arm!
