I saw that but it's to big for me. Extremely desirable and not often seen for sale. How's the new Mercian frame (60th) has it been finished yet? I am thinking of having a custom frame built as a normal top tube is making me stretch I am trying out differnt stems and 60mm may work but it all feels a bit of a bodge.

Just get a frame with the right top tube length then raise the seat more if necessary. I have the oposite problem, I'm short in the legs for my height so with a horizontal top tube of the right length I tend to end up with the seat almost all the way down and very little standover clearance. Getting a smaller frame and sticking a longer stem on it doesn't really help as it puts too much weight over the front wheel. Moving the seat back is a bit off too, since I like to ride over the bracket.

Compact geometry really is a great invention from my point of view.
