How good is the Crank Brothers Multi Mini Tool 10? It says it has a lifetime warranty,
so, should I spash 16£ at my lbs or buy some other cheap ones.
The better budget option was the Topeak X-Tool, but they don't have it in stock, and I don't know if they can order only one for me.
And how hard is the "6051 high tensile steel" compared to the "Hardened Steel" at the Topeak. Don't answer this question because it's probably the most stupid question ever asked at bikeradar.

The CB doesn't look very good to me. And 13 quid for a few allen keys and a torx key? Topeak looks much better to use, with more grip and leverage.
Topeak Alien good - with chain tool.0 -
If you want workshop-tools, then buy a set of Allen keys, a torx driver, and some spanners. Every now and then the likes of Aldi & Lidl offer a complete cycle tool set, complete with all those tools you'll only need once in a blue-moon, for only around £17.99.
If you're after a trailside-fixer-upper then as Sonic says, the Topeak Alien (II) is a great tool. Mine has got me and my riding mates out of many a predicament! If you buy one of the cheaper tools, you'll forever be finding that you've not got the particular tool you want :x
If you can't stretch to the Alien, then a screwdriver & set of Allen keys in a plastic bag will work just as well, and be cheaper!0 -
I got the larger Crank Bros (with chain device) a while back. The overall build quality is quite good but I wouldn't buy it again. The chain tool is pretty poor as you have no leverage (so it's a hard job to use), the screwdriver "bits" are pretty poor quality (don't grip screw heads properly and round of the heads) and the allen keys tend to fold into the handle as you use them (although to be fair this is probably a problem with all multi-tools).0

The Alien looks nice, as the X-tool but my only descent lbs don't have it. And also the Alien is way off my budget.
I don't have much choice here, I'm pretty limited here.
Or you can send me one of you the X-tool for probably ?£+5£ if posible for postage, because CRC wants 10£ for postage.Just joking.
I don't know what to do. :?0
