hi guys,
Any one ridden or got a Scott Addict bike. I love how light they are and this bike below seems like a great bargain for me and even though its online the shop is only an hour and a half away from me so I've been to look at the bikes and this looks great. I haven't ridden it yet but the shop guy, Paul Slane (ex-pro cyclist), said that for my budget this is about the best I can get.

the carbon frame is top rate so and the great is so so but for a started bike its looks great. The weight is so light that its going to be a dream to punch up hills....

Any ideas?

  • My mates got the the R2 or maybe R3 - Same frame - Superlight and looks the business, hasn't let me ride it though!
  • I've got one and it is absolutely brilliant. I also know a few guys locally where I am that have them (or the R3 / R2) and I have never heard any complaints. IThe detail on the design and the finishing kit is amazing for the price. I have had several high end bikes in the past and my Scott weighs in at less than my 2 year old Cannondale Six13 Team issue for half the price - it really is amazing value. I also understand from my local dealer that next years bike is going up in price so get one now if you can

Hope this helps, you wont be disappointed
  • I 'm very excited...... :D
  • Hi
I have just bought this beauty
If you can stretch to £2399 i would highly recomend this model as it has the better frame and a full durace group

  • unfortunately I'm already stretching to get the R4. I;d love to get a HMX frame but to be honest at the moment there's little point. I'll get the Scott Addict LTD one day if I keep on cycling but that's for another year
