Cyclescheme Voucher : How long to arrive?

Ok, road bike on order from LBS, deposit paid, been sized up for frame.
Bought a shedload of new bike kit and its all arrived and ready to use.
Waiting patiently for the Postie to stick the Cyclescheme voucher through the door.
I've returned my signed purchase agreement about 8 days ago.
How long does the actual voucher take to arrive ( I can see some folk thinking "How long is a piece of string?". :P
What happens exactly, after the purchase agreement goes back to my employer ( I sent it to headquarters in the internal mail ) ??. Do they ( my employer ) send me out the voucher or does the voucher come from Cyclescheme themselves?.
Cant wait to get on the road on the new bike!!! Getting frustrated waiting!!!

I was told by my employer that my voucher will arrive on 10th sept - very specific, that was after they received the agreement forms from Cyclescheme last thursday. As far as I can tell, the voucher is sent by Cyclescheme to my employer then to me - all rather funny as Cyclescheme HQ are less than a mile from me! But I guess they must follow protocol.0

mine took about 2 1/2 weeks. i work in bath and after the first week (ok... i'll admit it, after the first day ) i was wondering if i could pop round to cyclescheme and give them a hand.0

@ris....was that 2 and a half weeks from the start, as in from when you filled in the application or was it 2 and half weeks from you sending off the hire agreement?.
I'm trying to suss out how long it takes folk to get the voucher from the point at which they have filled in and signed the hire agreement, not from when they first applied to the Cyclescheme via the application form.
Hope that makes sense!!!. 8)Ethernet (noun): Something used to catch the etherbunny.

took about 7 working days from them getting the signed agreement from me...(my HR) you need to 'badger' the person at the other end..something i think they must get used to0

Mine took SIX FLIPPING weeks to arrive - by which time the bike I wanted was out of stock! I rang loads of Evans Cycles branches, their head office and even the bike manufacturer to find out if there was a stray model lurking somewhere and they all told me the same thing: new stock will be in closer to Christmas.
I ordered a different model and then got an email saying "The bike you wanted is back in stock" - urgh.0 -
signed form to sitting on the bike - 7 days0

From me posting my signed forms it was exactly two weeks before the voucher landed on the mat. There is a compulsory 11 day cooling off period from when they receive the forms. Strange if some people got theirs sooner. Maybe my works scheme is slightly different.
I was like a puppy waiting for the postman!0 -

dropped in to the shop on a thursday(inthis case the 7th august), i filled in the form and dropped docket into finance dept. the cyclescheme voucher was ready by the tuesday 26th. i actually picked up the bike on the thursday, which would have amde it 3 weeks, but i could have gone in on the day i got the voucher.
my office were happy to give me the voucher and i sorted out the hire agreement a couple of days later. i've been there a long time so they trust that i won't do a bunk!0 -

*UPDATE*
Well, gave the Postie till Saturday and no joy, still no voucher arrived yet.
Can't contact the HR dept over the weekend so I'll wait till Monday. Fired off a couple of internal emails to them anyway.
Monday arrives - It's a public holiday for the HR and civvy staff at HQ, so there's no bugger there to speak to!!!
So will need to wait till tomorrow before contacting them.
Oh......got my payslip for this week and guess what?. First payment has been deducted for the Cyclescheme.
Great, the gits have swiped the cash from me already, and still nae voucher, never mind nae bike. :shock:Ethernet (noun): Something used to catch the etherbunny.

A week after I completed the online request my contract arrived at work. I signed it, got it counter signed by my manager and returned to our Cyclescheme co-ordinator. 8 days later and the voucher arrived through my door - same day bike collected (I had reserved it upfront) next day I hit the roads....
I guess it was spead up by the fact that we have a dedicated co-ordinator who did a great job - I'm well impressed
Hope yours is sorted soon

Why not ask the shop if you can pay a deposit to reserve the bike?0 -
Thanks Alfablue, I have just emailed them to see if they would do that?
Thats good news then, as employer was happy to pay by credit card, which means I wouldn't have to wait until the voucher comes. Bring on next week!0 -
AT LAST!!!!!!
Finally got word back from our HR dept, my voucher was ready and rather than have them post it out to me, I nipped up this morning in the car and picked it up from our HQ.
Hopefully get through to pick up my bike tomorrow after I come off duty in the morning.

On the bumf i've got from work it talks about everything being digitally signed by both me and my work. Has anyone heard of this. I had an email about a week ago saying that it had been approved.Cube Ltd Pro!
